Ballet and Eisteddfod NEWS

2024 was the first year that the Jennifer school of Ballet entered members since they started back in 2000. Being a traditional Cecchetti Ballet school only for many years, producing top class ballerina,s both in the studio and outside as solo dancers in local productions. 

Jennifer decided to try out and enter her Ballet students into the local Cape Town Eisteddfod. Soon the GOLD medals and trophies where coming home from the high standard that is produced from here daily instruction.

Kiera Lock the GOLD medalist of the Eistedford in Cape Town 2025 

The Cape Town Eisteddfod was established in 1903. It is the most recognized festival in Cape Town and runs every year showcasing talent in five separate categories. 

​Aim of the Eisteddfod is to promote local arts and culture, inspiring people of all ages to learn, progress and pursue their talents in the Arts.

​This acclaimed event is dedicated to giving young talent from all communities a platform to showcase their skills in music, art, and creative writing.
